I have three used E-Flite 3 cells for my 400. All three of the batteries have one cell each that won't come up past 3.3 to 5 volts. I am using a D/N Power Lipo Charger from Boom-Town I am coinsidering taking the one battery apart "if possible" take the two good cells off put and solder those on the other two batteries replacing their one bad cell each. Sacrifice one to make two good ones. Has anyone ever tried this?

Status: offline 		Yes people have tried, no people here don't recommend it, an en fuego heli costs way more than a new battery.


Don't get me wrong it's been done, just most people here don't understand how volatile the lipos are. For average Joe do not try.

I'm with DY on this one, batteries la feu are extemely dangerous. I'd dispose of them and get new ones.

It wasn't a money thing, I just wanted the challenge. However, after seeing the videos I am a believer and I don't need the challenge of putting out a house or Heli fire. To the recycling center they go!
