When will my prize be in the mail Steve?
Nice looking model you've got there by the way. Make it a C/L'er and put a Fox.35 in it.

I just cleaned up and set the piston on one of my new Surestarts in anticipation. Or maybe I should ready my old TD 051/049 hybrid. Looks good, Steve! Wish I could build that fast. That already represents about 2 months of modeling time for me. Took 3 months to finish my Skydrill.

I love PT-19's and PAW 55s!!! I'm glad this one is getting done.

My old oil soaked PT-19 is retired. At 17oz it was a bit too much of a handfull anyway...

No new pics today... I had to mend the wing after I dropped a Simple Extra kit on it... but I did make the Elevator/Rudder/Throttle servo block.

Will this madness never cease? First no laser cutting. Now formers and stringers. What next? A painted finish? Oh, no I'm having flashbacks! Time for a nap.

Sorry about giving you 'overload' Raymond... I am trying to do some scale effects. The lower fuse aft of the front pilot was fabric covered. The top plywood and the fron s/metal. Good ole Doculam painted on the glue side for finish.

Steve,

I am a big fan of laminating film. But I have never tried to duplicate a scale fabric finish with paint on the inside. Now that I think of it, I wonder if some careful scrubbing with really fine steel wool might not dull down the shiney outside of the film. If you don't try it, I will.
