i have a brake problem on my savage. this pin came off>

and when i put it in it just slides in and when i twist it, it wont get caught on anything. how do i fix?

Read this link your going to need to do everything then you can work on ur breaks... Once the transmission is out you can work on the breaks.

* Take the breaks apart

* Put the Silver Rod in

* Pop the gold thing in the hole

* Reassemble the breaks

* Put the tranny back in and put everything back together
