What's the difference between the 600 carbon and 600 GF except ones made of carbon fiber and the other of fiber glass. Is the head any different?
Is it worth the $100 difference in price? I notice there is only 20 grams difference in weight. Is there any performance issues? I am only going to do simple aerobatics, invert hover, nothing crazy 3D.
And where is the cheapest place to buy either models?
Any good deals on S9252 servos and gy401?
I assume these are the popular electronics everybody uses.

I have a T-Rex 450 SA right now with a thunder power 3s 2070.
I am used to 7 min flight times. Whats comparable for the T-Rex 600?

With a 5000 6c in the 600 you have 5 minutes on 3-D and 6.5-7 minutes of light sport flying at a reduced head speed from 3-D.

The GF frames (1,5mm) are to weak and twist easily under power in my opinion they are a disaster waiting to happen. Get the CF(2mm).

I am shopping for a 600e myself. Here is a good deal I found this morning: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/2_382_383/products_id/18065

I am asking the same CF or GF questions. Fred, do you have experience flying a GF frame?

I have a Align 600CF that I purchased June of 2007. It came with a hardened alumb. frame. It takes about 25 hours to put the kit togeather. It would be worth getting a cheap digital caliper to measure the ball links for the head. I think Harbor Freight still carries them. If you have a little experience with reading blueprints it will also help. Although there is no detailed step by step instructions, if you study the diagrams it is all there. When you assemble the main rotor holder to the feathering shaft you can use eather the ruber damper for 3D flight or the standard ones. Thet both came with my 600CF kit.
Also when you are assembling the meatal flybar control arm check the final assembly to make sure it swivels freely. I have read at least one forum from RC Universe that discribed a fellow having an issue wit a stiff controll arm.
Also after you complete the kit keep the instructions for future repairs. I have a few notes to myself in mine.
The one upgrade I really like is the shaft drive for the tail rotors. I makes the heli more solid.
Let me know if you have any questions, I would enjoy helping.
The biggest drawback to the 600TREX heli is the batteries. I have four and two chargers. It is an investment. If I were considering getting into a 600 now I would think hard about the Align 500 that is out now simply because of the battery issue.
