Users can now use their 72MHz transmitters with AFPD through the Aerofly Wireless Connect (AWC) system. This means that you do not have to connect through a usb interface cable. The freedom to move anywhere in front of your display monitor or big projection screen enhances the simulation experience. The AWC system comprises of the following:

1) A Dual USB Interface.
2) A 72MHz receiver. You may use your existing Rx crystal (any brand). Just insert it into the receiver and you're set. The receiver is also available in 35MHz and 40MHz for other regions.

The AWC system will be available soon. Stay tuned!

The dual interface can be used for both wireless and cable connections to the transmitter. The AWC receiver can be plugged directly into the Dual USB Interface.

In case there is a space restriction e.g. when plugging into a laptop, the AWC receiver may be connected to the Dual USB Interface using an extension cable.

Hi Rajul

This sounds like a neat piece of kit!

I'm in the UK, can we get them over the pond yet?

Regards

Hi v8mini, I think 2.4 will be complicated as there are a few different operating protocols by different manufacturers. The 72 is more practical for now.

Hi sass, at the moment you would have to order it directly from Ikarus Germany http://www.ikarus-modellbau.de/onlineshop/deutsch/oxid.php/sid/38769ac21c53616ef455e77c43a626ab/cl/alist/cnid/217

Hi sass, the 72Mhz is available and can be requested in the order to Ikarus Germany. Hobby Lobby has yet to make an announcement on the availability in the USA.
