Hi all, I'm having problems with my Lama. Was flying fine, recharged the battery, reconnected the battery flashes red for a couple of seconds, then flashes red and green, and I cant get anything to work.
What does the red green flashing lights mean??

the manual says : blinking red-not ready, blinking green-calibrating ,solid green - ready, mine blinks for about 1 sec.and then goes solid green and is ready to fly ,make sure you do not move the heli or the transmiter while the light is blinking, happy flying

Yes, mine use to do all that, and yes I do make sure I dont move the helicopter, but now it just blinks red and green after its initial set up blinking red.

well, the only time i came accross red and green light blinking and not turning solid green was when i was converting my hbfp (hbfp and lama v3 both come from e-sky and i think they use the same 4in1) to brushless and i had the 4in1 out of the heli laying on the floor in whatever posision,it would never turn solid green, well i set the 4in1 in up posision and pluged the batt. and it worked, it did it`s normal blinking and then it went solid green, after i installed the 4in1 back in heli it worked every time ,i think it`s maybe the 4in1 gyro problem, try this :lay your heli on it`s side and plg in the batt.(ofcourse have the tx on first) and see what happen`s, if this dont work try it upside down,do give some time between each try maybe 5 or 10 min.,after all that give it few min.`s, and set your heli right side up (the normal way ) and see if that works,i`m sorry but that`s only thing i know to do,i know there are guys on this forum with lot more expirences then me so come on guys give the the man some advice

Thanks for the reply HowNot2fly, tried laying it on its side, then the right way up, still no different. Blinks red for a few seconds then starts the red green blinking, and nothing works.

Did you move the throttle and throttle trim all the way down to zero? I think that would just cause it to flash red, rather than red/green, but it's something. If not that, then my guess is your 4 in 1 has a gyro problem and needs replacement.

Take it back to where you bought it unless its to late. Sounds like a 4-in-1 problem. Mine is glitching like smeg to but mine loses radio contact when its fly'n. results of that.... crash. So I am talk'n to the place I bought it from and hopefully they will take it back or replace it.

Try taking it back or at least let them look at it so they can see for themselves, then maybe they will do something for you face to face.

almost happy fly'n
