(honeybee cp2) and purchased a 3900 brushless motor, 25a esc and deans connectors...all are ESKY brand. ive installed new motor with pinion. connected larger diameter blue, red, and black wires from motor to esc. my question is how do i plug in the 3wire(red,white,black) from esc into the 4in1?? my old motor pluged in with a 2wire(red,black) connector? im sure some of you pros will no what im talking about. thanks

Stingher, there is not a place to plug it into. You have to open the case up and solder a connector on and stick it outside of the case. Or buy a 40.00 dollars adapter. The old connector is voltage so don't plug it in there. There is a mod out on the forums that tell you how to do it. Esky basically cut the pins off so the consumer would not plug something into them. So now you have to solder to the pins that are cut off.

Take the reciever apart and you can see the pins that have been remove on channels 3 and 4 maybe. Not sure of the numbers but you can figure it out pretty easy. You only need the pulse wire and the ground wire not the red. Get a connector that will work with your servo and solder em in. Test it out and make sure you have it right. You have to get power while your in there also. I did find this link.

Well you may be lucky. If they are already there then plug it in and test is.

Well you need to solder the wires on channel 3 to get the throttle channel. It will be the short pins. Look at the pics on the link I posted above and you will see.

You do not want to connect the red wire from the speed control it stays disconnected. The small red one that is.

It should work unless your battery is totally dead and if that is the case your battery is no good now. Is it a Lipo battery? The pics all look good and in the first one you have the red wire disconnected. It looks OK there and ready to go.

You don't really need it. You could have it on the wrong channel. Is the ESC arming. It should beep or have a light on it. I don't use esky stuff so I am not sure when it arms but, It sounds like it is not arming. Do you have it on channel 3 or 4. I will do some research and make sure which one it is. Let me know.

It is definitely channel 3. You are soldered to channel 3 are you not. Also when you plug in the battery you need to make sure the throttle stick is all the way down and the trim tab is all the way down. The idle up switch should be flipped away from you (down).
