i can now speak a little on both sides of the t-rex - copterx fence ... cuz i just got a t-rex kit that i put together ...they are compatible and for some reason i seem to like my copter-x even more. I got the Se version and it even has more bling than my t-rex se ...both great helis but if i had to do it over for the saving i woudl copter-x.

yes i see sites where you can get them now in the u.s .... i got mine from ehirobo, the shipping is ridiculous (about 60 bucks if i remember) but even with shipping i got mine RTF, with metal upgrades up the whazzoo extra parts (battery, blades, shafts) and it comes w/ a metal carrying case for under $600 ... just dont think you can beat that.

(my rex i got here and after putting same electronics in i am over the 600 mark - i mainly got it cuz i wanted to knwo how to work on my helis by doing my assembly myself) ...and yes i know i dont have the best gyro money can buy or servos but for someone who is ecstatically happy hovering an entire battery w/o landing it works for me and i wont be upgrading gyro or servos anytime soon.

yup! ...that is the one i got but i think they now have one with a 2.4 ghz radio that (i think) is even a little less expensive ... the radio that comes with the one i got is programmable but it is an FM radio ....it works great for me - but one day i will get a DX6i ... only once really did i have to wait at the field for another pilot to fly .. so for now i am very happy.
