They are both Dynamite engines the engine in the aftershock (Mach .26SS) and the Lst2 engine (Mach 427) are pretty much the same thing.

They may be the same as far as mounting dimensions but that is where the dirrerence ends. The Mach 427 is a 7 port with a different carb and crank. A lot more power.

Yeah both the Mach 427 and the Mach .26 are made by Dynamite, but they are not the same engine.

Really? I've never heard that before, and I can't find any .26 engines on the SH site.

I believe it is Golden Lion. (Golden Lion is the master company, they make SH, XTM, Mach, LRP, Sprtewerks, etc.). SH, I think, is Golden Lion's flagship company for their model engines, and that is why I think many say these engines are all SH and resold under a differnt reseller name, badge, or whatever.

Or, Golden Lion could simply be making tons of blank engines and all these companies, SH, LRP, etc. are simply resellers who stamp their name on the Golden Lion Engines. This is extremely common for te chinese companies to do this. HSP is a major example. The HSP chinse cars are beginning to proliferate the American market, but we do not know HSP RCs as HSPs. HSP sells their black cars and trucks to Exceed, RedCat, & Himoto (and maybe some other reseller companies). Virtually all Exceed, Himoto, & Redcats are identical, they are all made by HSP. Though Exceed, Redcat, & Himoto are not HSP nor are these three the same company, they are only resellers who buy HSP cars and put their badges on the HSP stuff to resell as their own. Of course, there are some differences as far as the electronics put into them, maybe some rim and tire options and/or bodies, etc., but all three of these companies simply resell HSP cars and trucks, they do not make their own RCs (there is an exception, rumor has it that Himoto is beginning to design their own vehicles, the might be moving to divorce themselves from HSP).

After a brief search, Golden Lion Enterprises Co is SH Engines, SH is not a sub company (from what I can see), they are one in the same. Maybe the initial S.H. is for the chinese word that means "GoldenLion," anyone who knows Manderin, please let me know, I am curious.

Check out Golden Lion/SHengines website:
