well i tried it out last night and i'm very impressed. especially with how it holds the tail. very solid. overall very responsive to inputs. i dropped it a few times from my bed, over which i was hovering, when i would cut throttle once it got to the edge. it survived all the falls from 2.5 feet, except one where it fell nose first and snapped one of the "ears" on the canopy. i used tiny thin pieces of clear plastic that's used to hold up collars on new shirts to glue the piece to the canopy with CA and it holds great. didn't have enough time to play, but i already love this thing. it's like a mosquito compared to my Evo50 hahaha

Hi People,
It depends on how far you drain the Lipo, but most of the time the stock charger will take around 30 minutes to charge her up.

two very different helicopters, the 52 is a cp and the 4#3 is a fp. The 4#3 is much better suited for indoor flying.

I guess its a matter of opinions. But IMHO it is worth every penny and then some. And that seems to be a very popular opinion.

I am about to order a 4#3b. It will be my first heli and I will have training gear and a sim to practice.

I know they are hard to fly, but do you think Ill be okay if I take it slow?

Everyone learns at a different rate..
Do your sim first to get familiarized with the controls. Then when you go to actually fly, get over the initial fear of crashing and get the heli off the ground quickly to at least 3-4ft high. Best if you have a large indoor space to give yourself more reaction time.

key thing is to be persistent even when you break things.

i usually drain the battery to about 3.3V before i recharge it, which takes 45mins. basically when at full throttle the heli goes down and lands, i stop.

this thing is really awesome, for anyone who has doubts. i dropped it many times initially while getting used to controls and still drop it when i'm trying side-in hover and trying to fly. only the canopy cracked and i just kept fixing it like in my previous post. when the plastic pieces that i stick on it crack, i just replace them.
once, the tail rotor and gear popped off, but i put them back on and put a drop of CA glue where the rotor is.
today i broke off the tail boom at its base in the frame and i usually don't crash it in a way that would cause this. the boom was kinda split up by cracks on that end. i removed broken pieces of carbon from the mounting hole. then put CA glue on the split end in the cracks and held it together with a thread till it dried. filed it a lil to fit back into the hole. the glue holds the split end together pretty strong and eventhough the boom is 7mm shorter now, there's NO effect on flying whatsoever and i still have a spare boom. i didn't even have to trim the rudder after this.

the best thing to do when in trouble is to just cut the throttle. it'll survive almost all falls with only slight bends in the skids which you can bend back and cracked canopy at most, which you can fix.

so far i flew 10 batteries full and it's pretty solid in the air. i can do a bit of hands-off with it trimmed out. the tail stays put unless you hit the throttle hard and all you need is to trim rudder a lil as the battery drains. i put the servo adjustment screw all the way to the right and then put the servo linkage balls into 2nd holes out like someone else had, and it's even more responsive, easier to control and quicker to change direction or stop from going whichever way without having to row the stick around.
this thing is 1/6 the size of my Evo50, but i don't love it any less

http://www.walkera-parts.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=421_422&products_id=9360

Here's another option to order from.

I got mine from them, great service, quick, about a week, about 25 dollars for shipping. Exqusite quality, boy was I pleased. Then, I couldn't get it to bind. Helipal helped out, it was a sticky, mode switch in the TX. Then, my tail rotor won't respond above half throttle. Then, Helipal stops responding. Contacted, Walkera directly, this weekend, now waiting for an answer.

Well, with no support from, helipall AND Walkera direct, I went and ordered a new receiver. Got it in last week and found that even with a new Rx, still, the tail won't behave. Next up is to replace the tail motor. If that's not it, what next?

Does Walkera have a service center in North America?

Not much fun when you pay for a heli and then get no support when it's bad and then you pay for another Rx and STILL no joy. And no solution. Not much LOL happening. Hope you find yours up to par when you get it. Again, good luck.

Hello, I am new to this forum (my first posting ever)

I have two 4#3 standard heli's and have flown 3-4 times every day for the last 3 months. Only problem after a couple of crashes is fly-bar brakes where the paddles are connected. Nothing else

Both my stock 4#3's have the same two annoying problems. I have to give a lot of right rudder at the end of the flight and they both tilt to the right making it more difficult to circle left. I know that the tilt is due to the nature of the heli but compared to larger heli's it is quite a lot. I am now considering buying the 4#3B version but am not sure if they have fixe the two problems or if anyone else have the same experience with the 4#3B.

/Hans.

i haven't had anything more than ordinary from what you describe. right before take off it wants to topple over to the left, so right cyclic and more throttle gets it up and in the air with no prob. at the end of the battery i have to add maybe 5 clicks to compensate for tail rotation. other than that, this thing is solid. i don't think u need to get the whole new chopper though. maybe a couple of CNC parts like blade holders, and metal flybar? not sure what else u would need to make them work with plastic version. i know on chinesejade.com the guy sells a version that only has only a couple CNC parts and according to him it's just as good and lighter than B version

Thanks! I think I will follow your advice and take a look at the page. It seems like my "tail problem" is common for this model.

haha yea that's more appropriate: "However, if a shill does not place uninformed parties at a risk of loss, but merely generates "buzz", the shill's actions may be legal." (Wiki). Seems like these guys wanna "buzz" around, like the 4#3B itself does . i do like "mole" because it reminds me of Austin Powers: "moley moley moooleeeyy".

Hehe,
I can't believe I still have not seen that movie.
These Mole/shills would do a lot better if they introduced themselves as retailers.
Iam sure they would be respected and have a better name online.
