Eric,
Awesome shots! Thanks. I think in the one in the center of the first group you can see pieces of shredded leaves behind the tail.

It was great seeing, talking, and flying with you folks. I only flew two rounds as well, but only shot about 300 pics. I've heard rumors that there might be some "I survived the 2008 Mint Julep" t-shirts available. I'll sure want one!

Hey Mike, how about taking the lead on getting those shirts made? I will sign up for one.

No problems here. Might be your browser or ISP. Sometimes AOL causes issues. Geesh....

Got the ones from Eric Alford though............Thanks man ! Those are great ! John may need to got to work for some newspaper..............Great job John ! Yeah the DVII had part of the tree hanging on the wings when it was recovered. It was good pilot skills that saved the plane in my opinion. Beautiful piece ! Wind was brutal, took alot of @#$%# to fly that day !

Jason,

I can work on the t-shirts, but I'll check with the SIRCM first to be sure they don't mind.

This will be awile though, as trying to recover from the the flooding here in Columbus. I got very lucky, flood water got withing 40' of the house. I was evacuated Sunday aroung 3 AM though. Got back to the house early that afternoon.

Thought I was fine, but now there is water seeping up through the basement floor very slowly. Needless to say, the ground is saturated. Anyone got an extra pump handy?
