Hello everyone just picked up a Caliber 30 with this radio and am having a little trouble setting up. I do have the manual but not helping me. Just cant seem to get the Pitch/Aileron servos to move in the correct direction move the stick left the swash tips right and vice versa. The heli is setup in EMS mode . I have servos 3&6 reversed the swash and throttle go up properly as i move the stick up. If anyone has any ideas please help as for im grounded unless i just get used to flying it this way.

You have to reverse them in the "Swash Type", not in servo reversing. If your % is + change it to - or if it is - change it to + on each servo. For instance if you Aileron servo is at 60 change it to -60 then do the same for the pitch servo.

This is assuming your using CCPM, from my understanding you can setup the Caliber in ether mechanical OR electronic (CCPM) mixing.

First "servos 3&6"? 3 is throttle and 6 is pitch. Throttle (3) is not involved in the CCPM/EMS ... so reversing the CHANNEL is sufficient for this CHANNEL. 1,2, & 6 (ail, ele, & pit) on the other hand ARE very much involved in the CCPM/EMS mix.

When using CCPM/EMS, the first thing to learn is the difference between CHANNELS and FUNCTIONS. They are not the same thing. You reverse channels to get a servo working in the correct direction relative to the other two servos. You reverse FUNCTIONs to get the swash moving correctly relative to stick movement.

You would think that reversing all three CHANNELS would reverse the FUNCTION ... well it does ... for that one FUNCTION. The problem is ... those same CHANNELS are used in the other two FUNCTIONS. So fixing one FUNCTION by reversing the CHANNELS will more than likely cause one or more of the other FUNCTIONS to get messed up. This causes most beginners to chase their tail trying to get the swash moving right.
So, you need a method to reverse FUNCTIONS once the servos are moving correctly relative to each other.

As was said, reversing the FUNCTION is performed in the SWSH menu. If the aileron FUNCTION is going in the wrong direction relative to the stick movement, then reverse the polarity of the aileron setting in the SWSH menu. Reversing the polarity will reverse the direction of the FUNCTION relative to stick movement.

Thanks a million guys i got the swash moving accordingly, yes the +/_ in the swash menu fixed the problome
