Status: offline 		FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ! I can not figure out why the Z270 throttle servo continuosly goes bad on this truck. I went through three of them in 24 hours and I am nopt sure which servo to try next. Has any one come up with a solution for this problem ? I am using the SPEKTRUM DX 2.0 radio with the SR3000 receiver. Please fill me in with any ideas or proven facts.

Status: offline 		Yes the servo motor stops working but I lowered the EPA down to 21 and I just got home and for some reason lowering the EPA didn't help. The gear I can hear moving the motor.

Status: offline 		My throttle servo craped out befor i switched engines, I bought a Z590M Torque Race servo with Metal Gears so it wouldn't give out or strip Its about 40 bucks CA, Awesome servo and works instanly. Really improved throttle response aswell.

Status: offline 		Go with the JR 650 servo. Better torque than 590

Status: offline 		I also just discovered my fail safe is not working the way it was when I first got the L8T. I used to be able to turn offf the radio and the breaks would engage and the wheels would turn to the right. Now when I turn off the radio it only returns the throttle back to the normal position and no breaks are applied.

Status: offline 		I'm not sure if this would be the issue, but with the 8ight-B the throttle servo is often burned up because of flex in the radio tray.

Without a after market radio tray stiffener and the correct throttle/break epa and straight linkage it will blow up the servo.

I recommend buying a stiffener before you throw any more money into a throttle/break servo.

Status: offline 		I switched the servo to a Tower PRO MG995 digital metal gear servo with 140oz per inch @6volts torque. I ran the 8T today as rough as I could and the servo held up. After todays run I realized all of the throttling up and down while driving and racing
really puts a load on the servo motor. If the servo motor can't handle this type of abuse it will soon burn out. How low can you go as far as torque will remain unknown until I have to change the throttle servo again which probably will be never. The MG995 servo above cost me twelve dollars, five dollars less than the Z270 JR servos that come with the L8T. The quick throttle response is very noticeable from the get go with the MG995 servo.

Status: offline 		Now I have a strong throttle servo , it eats up the 1100mah battery in 2 hours which causes the servo to get stuck at full throttle. I getting a little annoyed with this L8T ready to break truggy.

1. has any one experienced the sticky servo as the voltage drops below 6 volts ? can't the receiver an servos work off of 4.8 volts ?

2. FAIL SAFE FOR WHAT ! ? IS THERE A PROGRAMMABLE FAIL SAFE FOR LOW VOLTAGE ? OR DOES IT ONLY WORK WHEN THE SIGNAL IS LOST ?

3. what battery is every one using to run their L8Ts ? (reveiver)
