I've ordered the plans from www.danstanichmodels.net A 60 size Super Hots. Now, where can I get the balsa? Lone Star burnt down, right?. I know there are kit cutters out there, but after much research I have ideas, but that don't tell me which one won't screw me.. Give me some info, guys !! Thanks

Since Lonestar burned I have gotten my balsa from National Balsa. They are higher than Lonestar was, but the quality is pretty good.

As for kit cutters, Laser Lizard has an excellent reputation.

Cornel Michaels does nice work also, but IMHO, is on the high side, but not as high as some of them.

Balsa USA or Superior Balsa give good service. Lone Star was the best but apparently Nelson Hobbies has picked up Lone Star's inventory and is continuing to sell it. I tried National Balsa and was not at all happy with the quality of the wood.
