I bought a new 2300 mA JR, 4 cells, 4.8 volts pack and put it on my Accucycle Elite charger for cycling. I set 300mA discharge and 250mA slow charge but the charger can not stop charging it and it has put 3400mAh and i could measure 5.75volts with the voltmeter.

The charger stopped charging by itself after 12hours but is my pack damaged or overcharged? Should i put 1C charge to see the peak?

Daniel

The charge rate of 250ma for 12 hrs. should be good, at that rate you should not be able to over charge the batteries. discharge rate should be at C5 fore your 2300ma batteries 500ma discharge rate would be good.
cycle the batteries now to find the capacity of your batteries.

I'm pretty sure tail strike meant C/5, not C5 for the discharge rate. Basically, on new batteries (or those that have been inactive for a long period) you should charge for 16 hours at 0.1C to properly form (reform) them.

I cycled two times and the charger does not want to stop charging. The charger stopped by itself with auto time charging protection.

It looks like my charger can not detect the peak charge? 3400mAh seem big on a small 2300mAh What's going wrong?

Not to worry, there is no "peak" when slow charging, anytime you are charging at around the C/10 rate, you have to time the charge. This is better for the battery, as it allows the individual cells to balance themselves.

I gave a call to Hobbicco and we found the bug.
I reduced the epak senssibility to 0.5mV instead of 0.8mV and increase the charging current to 0.6A. Now the charger peak at 2338mAh.
