I am in need of help. I am trying to complete a Nitro Ulitmate Bipe 40. The instructions leave much much to be desired. I am an experienced bulder so I think I can get through most of the build but I need some specs.
I need to know the wing incedence. The kit pictures show wing incedence jigs for measuring the wing incedence but they do not come in the kit. I would assume the bottom wing and horizontal stab should be at level and then the top wing set at zero incedence but I would like to know if this is correct before final assembly.
I also need to know the CG. The book shows 120 from leading edge but it does not show whether it is checked at top or bottom wing, center line or out on the spars, and whether it is checked with the plane inverted or right side up.
Also not listed in the book is recommended control surface throws.

I think I already answered you, but in case anyone is following along...

Insert the wing screw "tabs" so that the metal screw causes the strut to be flush with the wing itself.

This is the height you want to set all of the tabs.

Screw them in, check the struts and then epoxy the tabs in place.

Affix the bottom wing, make sure it sits flush to the fuse, then affix the top wing but leave the carbane unmounted to the fuse.

Note that the carbane mount holes were marked on the inside of the fuse with pen, all I had to do was drill them out.

Affix the carbane to the top wing.

SQUARE the wing out. I put two cut 2x4's on each end and loosely pushed the wing edges square with heavy objects to hold them in place.

Make sure that the wings also line up at the wing tip backs and front....

Once you have the top wing square against the bottom, mark the holes for the carbane at the fuse.

Drill and affix the carbane, try to keep the wings aligned at their tips and front and back.

The top wing incidence will be correct.

The C.G. is checked with the plane right side up at the center of the TOP wing.
