What do some of u have for springs on ur truck. stock or losi's? i found these hot racing springs on liquidrc.com. they are cold coiled 8lb springs. they call them the monster lift springs. they really are stiff!! it raises the truck to full shock extension when its on all fours, and its not to stiff for off road. they say they r hard to botom out, but ive managed they do add the height with the spring adjustmants as loose as they go and they are a deal at $7.49 for 2. just thought that may have been nice to share.

Ready 2 ride

k i can do that, as soon as i get my new pipe and engine in her, i already had run a gallon of fuel thru these springs and so far no signs of bending or weakening. it is kinda hard to get them on the shock they are so stiff!

By far the best springs and deal going are the blue progressive springs avaiable from RC Raven. I read
a ton of other posts on LST2/Aftershock owners who had nothing but good to say about these springs
so I bought a set. Check this out a set of four will set you back a whopping $7.99. They start out with
a spring rate of 8.0 and as the spring compresses advances to a spring rate of 15.0 giving you the best
of both worlds for handling uneven terain and killer jumps! I also upped the weight of shock oil from the
stock 30wt, to 40wt. and can only describe the suspension on my truck now as "bring it on" !!

If you are not smelling nitro fumes and listening to the sweet song your not LIVING !!

I had the Hot Racing springs when I first had my LST1 over 3 years ago. They were way too stiff, my truck would flip all the time and handle like crap.

I use Stock silver springs on my LST1 with some pre load. If I plan on really bashing I'll throw the Yellow Springs on the rear, or on all 4s.

They are just too stiff, I could flip in a yard hitting any small inconsistency.

Trust me I got rid of them quick, a LST with HotRacing springs does not handle like a LST is supposed to....

Photo is from January 12, 2005 no preload on the rear and it was a tub with these....

If you are going slow and doing sky wheelies off a side walk they might make sense.

Those are the only non LOSI springs I have tried that I would use. I run them on the rear of my Muggified racer, they rock, even on Muggy shocks.

I know that I will never purchase a Hot Racing product again, I had other Hot Crap parts........... I actually consider them a step below Integy.

I never purchased a Hot Racing part that was not junk.

Install of Hot Racing Alum diff cups for instance..

A week or 2 later, screws pulled out and the cups were shot, junk, junk, and junk.
