Status: offline 		I found a Tower Hobbies System 500 AM Receiver the other day at a yard sale, it came with 3 ic servos but no receiver or batteries. Does anybody know what kind of battery this thing took, or if I could use a more common aa or aaa battery with it? I apologize if this question seems kind of stupid, but I'm very new to the rc scene.

The old Tower Hobbies line was basically the same as Futaba. Any 4xAA 600-700 mah Rx pack will work. Hopefully it has "J" plugs instead of "G". Good luck and have fun.
