Hey guys- First of all, I'm spoiled!!! This AW QB series has spoiled me as far a looking at other arfs out there, I sure they are plenty other good ones out there but I seem to judge them all by AW now, quality is beyond and they fly great. I have a 50cc and a 75cc Yak and love them both, my only question is that I want to go to the 100cc class, so which one do I get the Yak or the Extra? I don't 3D but I just love the way the Yaks fly, don't know how much different the Extra would be, has anyone flown both of these planes and how do they compare? Hey like I said please keep in mind guys I'm not going to 3D the plane and I love the way my Yaks fly, I may have just answered my own question!!! How about some input.

i have the 50cc yak, 50cc extra and 100cc extra. i've flown the 100cc yak as well. If you are not into 3d, the extra is the plane for you. it is better at IMAC style manuevers whereas the yak is better at 3D and slow flight IMHO. Either way, you cannot go wrong with an AW plane.

I just like the slow flight charactistics of the Yak! Being 52 here I'm just old school and just fly basic aerobatics, but when it comes to landing these birds you can't beat the Yak, it will slow to a walk and if some like me can land it anyone can.

krayzc-RCU - Where are you located at, I work in Concord/Charlotte. I work for Hendrick Motorsports in the engine dept. just a mile from LMS. I would like both but the budget right now don't fit it, maybe if I could sell the 50cc I could swing it!! Anyone interested? LOL

yeah i joined the speedway about 2 months ago. I have not been able to fly for about 2 weeks for events that have been happening there. When they have events we cannont fly there. I like to be able to squeeze in those weekday flights. I will be working on the house project soon so i have to get in as much as i can until then
