Status: offline 		As mentioned in another thread a buddy and I are looking for new homes for our Saito 1.00's. We've both been burning the midnight oil reading threads on the new OMP 65" Yak and the older TOC Extreme Yak Pro; aka EF Yak Pro aka Aviation Models Yak Pro blah blah blah. I have yet to find a good head to head comparison of the two planes. We are concerned about the Saito being enough motor for the OMP since its more of a 1.20 size bird; but the 1.00 seems more than enough for the TOC Extreme. I've read a lot of gripes about the landing gear and anti-rotation pins on the TOC Extreme but it sounds like the later production runs don't have the wing issues. We are also concerned about the engine mount on the OMP...my buddy's Saito came out of an OMP Katana 70 V2 and it flexed way too much for my liking, but it flew so well we are both drawn to the new 65" Yak. My Saito is going to come out of a perfectly good Mayhem just because it flies like $%!^ compared to the OMP Katana and I'm jonesing for another profile. I like the OMP for its thinner wing but everyone raves about the flight characteristics of the TOC with its fat wing. The TOC Extreme Yak Pro is about $60 bucks cheaper too...not that 60 bucks would keep us from buying the right plane, but if all other things are considered and we are still undecided we will buy the cheaper plane.

If anyone has first hand experience with both of these planes, or even a plane I havent mentioned, especially with the Saito 1.00 we would love to hear your oppinions. We are planning on pulling the trigger on a pair of ARF's tonight or tomorrow. Thanks!
