the build will get finished, its just i have a lot on at the minute, so this and the Volvo/trailer 1/14 projects are sitting there looking at me!

as for the 'next RC' question, you'd be better posting that in the Lounge

a minor buld update.. here's all my option parts.. including: gear set, carbon gear shafts, bearings, drive shaft and lock nuts..

bearings... 22 in total..

hop up drive shaft, compared to the standard 'bent coat hanger' style one!

close up of the two driveshafts..

Wow, speed gear set.. are you sure?! This thing is supposed to be a trail rig, no?!

Where did you get the hop-up driveshaft?! Nice!

got the driveshaft from JR-RC, i hate the look of the standard item.. its a trail rig, but a fast one, eg: Mamba Max 5700 power! i can always experiment with different pinions etc..

the dampers are not the most adjustable one's ive encountered.. but its only for bashing so i'll survive!

built 3 of the shocks up without the spacer inside (as previous shocks look like they could do without) but the springs are way too short this way...

new chassis tub? dont remember the honeycomb on the Ford F-150..

body cut out, but not sanded yet, not sure if i'm going to run the pesky lower front/rear bumpers.. think 'Touareg' and you'll know what i mean..

Yeah, no doubt you can easily get the piston setup in there, but yeah, I doubt that you'd need that.. !!

Can't wait to see it run!!

Nice! I'll be watching this thread for sure. Looks very similar in parts to the XB Humvee (hopping mine up with possibly putting my Novak 10.5 brushless into it in the future). Will you be doing anything to tighten up the steering parts like those aluminum steering arms that are out there for the TA-02 etc? By the way, nice choice on the paint, I like it on my Durga

i tend to find that genuine TA-02 parts are really pricey, as they are pretty old, eg: the metal motor mount is £35! (70$!) stabiliser sets are also expensive, as are other metal parts, so it will stay standard unless i spot a good deal!
