I'm Pretty new the brushless world, and I don't know much about it, i have a little knowledge. But I don't know how to calculate the what motor can handle what RPM andat what voltage. (anyone wanna school me?)

I just purchased a 5700k Mamba, I was wondering which battery is best. the 14.8 4 cell, or the 11.1 3 cell. When I say best, will provide the ultimate performance, safely and that can be managed.

Thanks,
Dennis

It will already run hot on 11.1 volts which means you will have to stop and let it cool down frequently depending on gearing. You'll need a larger motor to handle 14.8v at 5700kv unless you are just doing few second speed runs with long breaks inbetween.

yeah, make sure your cooling is as good as it can be and you should be okay, your motor's lifetime may be shortened a bit, though...

Yup, it's definately possible. It's only good for doing a few speed passes between cooldown breaks, but if you are just looking to see how fast you can go...do it. I like to bash around and not have to stop and cool all the time so the 3s on 4600 is what I prefer.
