I am building a SIG 1/5 scale cub kit and I want to make it electric. There are no provisions for this assembly in the directions (only gas). Someone in an earlier post suggested a 2820 AXI engine, but I think a 4120/18 might be better. In any case, I need a battery pack and I do not know which type is required for this engine. I also don't know how to mount the engine, nor for that matter do I know whether an electric configuration is best. It looks more expensive than a 4 stroke/gas configuration, but I like the idea of less noise and mess. I have built everything sans the fuselage and want to get going with the rest of the build, but have reached an impasse. Can anyone provide pro's and cons on gas vs. electric? (other than the fact that it would be easier to install gas). If electric, what battery is best for the AXI 4120/18 brushless motor? Nicad vs. Lipo? Would anyone know how to mount the engine properly?

any help very appreciated,

Pete
