for years I have used a walwart never once have I ever checked the voltage on my packs they have never failed me either.
Now that I have all this info with the triton it scares me EEK.
this pack holds up flying all day so far.

What is the down side of the voltage being so high?

[/QUOTE]I think it just indicates the internal resistance of the cells is higher than it used to be. This reduces the power they can deliver under high loads etc. I suppose..

Something else you can do to be gentler on your TX pack is use a lower delta-V (NiMH) setting. As long as you can keep it from false peaks, it is a little easier on the cells.

From what I have been reading on the forum, I think I need a load on the pack to get an accurate reading I gather.
Just read how to make a loaded DVOM (key) word loaded.SIMPLE

I am just looking at the reading on the triton when complete
Whatever still picking this up little by little
