Any guesses on the price? I am going to say street price is $799.00. For the Kyosho fans this is not an issue but we will have to wait and see.
My prediction is the D8 will be the surprise car of the year.

D8? That the O'Donnell buggy or the new hot bodies buggy? They both looked good at the roar event a few weeks ago. $799 might be a msrp price, Im hopen for a cost around the 600 mark. I forgot what I picked for a street price. Once it comes out well need to go back through the post and see who picked the closest.

I don't think that the MP9 has so much difference than the MP777 series, so it will be easy to find parts.

Thats what Fellows was running, if I remember his name correctly. He bumped twice to dun in the a main and finished 3rd or 4th. Yes, that was an impressive run and the buggy proved its self well.
The link back a page said arms are diffrent, towers, antena is more forward, thus the radio tray is diffrent, diff cases might be the same but with new towers, look for them to be changed up a bit too. Big bore shocks with the thinner cvd shafts, looks like its going to be impressive. Its a kyosho, it should be

Actually, Jeremy FELLES was running the Hot Bodies D8 and he qualified
in the top 32 overall which qualified him for race #17 (d main 2) but
had trouble in that race early and dnf'ed. The buggy ran and performed
great all week though.

To no fault of his own, Jeremy's a good driver but his pit man way richen
up his engine during an early unscheduled pit stop and then flamed out/
broke halfway thru.

I think he said the street price was gonna be some where under $400
for the D8 kit. It should be worth every penny !

Billy Fischer was the one who bumped up twice and finished 2nd in the A main.

Looks pretty quick to me, although anything would probably look quick with Kanai wheeling it

Interesting, very interesting. Wonder if kyosho is planning on the tcd diff or bevel gear diff? Those guys run the tcd on tracks like that one, going from dirt to pavement back to dirt ect.
Nice find, now Im realy wondering and wanting one.

I hope Kyosho follow the MP7.5 and MP777 releases by releasing a standard kit version (in the range of $400) and a racing spec one.
