I flew my park zone trojan t-28 last night, flew for only only 6 min before noticing low power. landed plane and installed fully charged battery. had problems getting asc to arm motor. tried several diff things. had motor running but at about 1/4 throttle with no control from radio. Brought home checked all connections, program esc. esc doesnt give me autible for armed motor. did give it to me a couple times at field but with no control and 1/4 throttle running. During programing didnt know where to set timing 4-pole or 2-pole ?. I know this is not the problem just will need to set correct when I figure out what fried. I did add a servo to channel 5 and took power from reciever battery connnection to power up led lights. I need to know where to check for voltage to determine what has happened. Btw I ran out 3 3cell 1800 mah batteries the night before with no issues. While programming I read about adding servos and disarming bec and using external bec should i have updated to higher amp esc and done that. The landing lights worked great, but does me no good if the darn plane wont fly lol. Thanks for your help in advance.

God Bless
Brian

Is your trottle trim lowered ?

Did you re charge those 3 pacs ?

Did you re charge the Tx and Rx pacs ?

woody, I think maybe you answered your own question. If you overloaded the built in bec, you cooked it and that's why you're having a problem. Try using an rx pack, and pull the power wire( most often it's the center red wire) from the esc's lead to the rx.

If it works then you know what you did, if it's still acting the same, you might have damaged the esc itself too.
