The front and rear diffs on the Hyper ST are identical to the Kyosho diffs.

I had a Kyosho diff and Hyper diff completely apart and the internal gears are identical. Infact, to fix my diff leaking issues in my Hyper ST diff I actually used the kyosho gasket which had the same exact hole placement.

Do you have the part number for the gaskets? Thanks.

I think what OasisTR is stating is the bevel (ring) gear and pinion gears are diffierent.
Spiral cut and harder. The internals may be as you say, but that's it.

As for the part number for the gasket, it's on AMain and I have about 10 of them
as well as 4 complete sets of gears, cases and ring and pinions.

For Cheap and Tough I would look at the Sportworks..You can get a complete front or rear end (shocks, towers, diffs, etc..) on ebay for $30 and $40..The diffs and diff cases are the same as the Losi 8..they fit and they are the same..

Heavy weight oil would help make the shocks stiff.
