Well first I would want to know why my motors are burning up? Then I would want to know what $cell is? You must be either giving them much to much battery or overproping. The ESC should get hot and shut down before motor if batteries are the problem. At least I would think so. Then on the power 15 not sure if it calls for more than 2100 lipo or not probabaly so. I run a 25 with two 2100 lipos, ran parellel. Or they both feed into one plug whatever that is called. Gives 4200 that way at 11.1V. Just sounds like overproping and getting them to hot. What size ESC are you using? and what batteries? Maybe $cell is 4cell and your under batteried and burning them up. If your going to go with a 15 or equivilant you will need 6cells I would think.

Surf.

The power 15 will work and the 2200 14.8v TP extreme V2 pack also but if your going to use an 80 amp ESC you better watch your throttle management or you will burn the motor again. That lipo as a very high discharge rate and with that ESC it will past the max Continuous Current of 34A of the motor. Im sure the Axi is around the same max amp also.

An 80 amp esc doesn't mean a motor automatically runs at 80 amps... Make sure to put your motor on a wattmeter and check the numbers are within specs. The reason that you (most likely) burned your motor up is because you either over propped it or are running WOT for too long. Be nice to your motor and it will be nice to you. Over propping a motor will make it inneficieant, get hot and shorten its life considerably. On a 4S lipo with your power 15 I wouldn't run anything above an 11x7, and thats if your very careful with throttle.

My buddy let me try his 42-40-1000 and I threw an 13x4 pulling 40 amps and 615 watts and this thing is a rocket!! its suppossed to max out at 50 amps so i should be ok. but i still like the AXI I just have never flown with them.

Man that is alot of battery for the motor. You could come down on battery some and probably not have problems. Understand the want to go fast, but the motor is only going to run for so long full throttle. Coming down on battery you could fly wide open longer and still have a motor afterward. 14.8 is for the big elec. such as the 60. Maybe go with a 4200 3cell and have a fast and reusable motor lol. Them throwaway motors get expensive quick.
