Am i the only one who is under 18, and only has vintage rc's, and still wants to get more?

I'm under 18, not sure about the vintage RC's (care to fill me in on what you mean?) but I do want more RC's though

I'm not too much older than you (20), and I'm starting to get into older RCs as well. I really enjoy building and working on high quality kits, something you don't see very much anymore. I'd love to see some of todays better cars and trucks offered as kits though, RTR isn't nearly as fun for me.

i dont see why quality and modern cant go together. A quality kit for me is something like an xray. Thats pure quality. Tamiya and all its plastic is good for tons of people, but not the thing for me. I dont want to be stuck in the 80s genre cars.

Thats true, many of the Tamiya kits aren't of great running quality - BUT you can generally find hop ups galore for them.

I recently bought and built a Losi XXX-4 G+ kit, excellent quality parts all around.

but hopups dont make it a quality built car in the first place. First off, theres flashing everywhere, and such, but less not get into this.

You're right - they don't make a quality kit, but they can help (especially with Tamiya truck kits) make it more bash worthy.

Tamiya makes the most competitive electric buggies and touring cars. The 501X and the TRF 416 to name a few...

the 416, true, but the 501x not so much for some reason, i think its main problem is the price of their competition kits are way over other car prices. but whatever floats your boat, and i know you love tamiyas.
