Hello all,

I have several projects in mind to work on. I'm wondering how difficult would it be to build a 1/5th or 1/6th scale warbird using a metal airtframe. I'm thinking of using aluminium. How would you join the pieces??..What else would involved??? Any feedback would be useful. Thanks.

Fly man...Fly!!!

Hey Ed!
Unbelievable! He's not going to fly that plane is he? Man... that is an incredible amount of work. I can't even seem to get my TF Sea Fury finished. Great looking model.

Did you ever fly your big 'Grim Reaper'? I missed the last outting to the lakebed, but would love to see your plane fly.

Russ.

Hey Russ,

I don't know what Dana has in mind for that masterpiece other than some ceremony with Bud Anderson. My suggestion was that he takes it straight to the Smithsonian. Would be cool with the miniature Merlin that I saw on another site.

Now, the "Grim Reaper". It's in my trailer ready to go. I had it with me at the Giant Scale meet Sunday but left it in the trailer. I'm thinking I'll try the Desert again March 23 since Debi wants to play golf this coming weekend.

I need you guys out there for moral support.

See Ya,

Ed
