Well, tittle says it. Can't seem to find the money, time, and patients for this stuff anymore, And I hate saying it but. Waiting for parts.. I know they do come quick with proper payment methods, But I would have to be doing money orders now and they just cost's more cash and longer delivery times..And all I need is a screw...? ( Screw, $1.00..Money Order, $6.00..all the taxes..$10..for a screw..).. Mostly I have lost the passion for driving these things just because of all the downtime... I am honestly fixing them more then I get to drive..Where's the fun in that? Also having to look for a ride to drive me down to the LHS...Love to see a Himoto Canada branch .. I know "Thats what RC is about" But my problems seem a little more outrageous and constant, And like I said time, money, patients has gone out the window.

Now You guys should know me, I'm not shooting down Himoto or anyone here, Just a personal decision that I think might benefit Me in the long run. What a crappy time to stop for a bit eh? Summer is here

And Donny, Next weekend is still on bro, But I only have the Mamba to run. And its acting up.. Going to change fuel lines and clean the filters..Other then that..I have no clue and not going to stress over it... It must not like this moist Canadian air

I'm not going anywhere far..I'll be on here and in chat to annoy you guys pretty often LOL, But You guys enjoy your passion for this hobby, Be thankful.

All you guys have been awesome, Eddie is the man obviously and Mark is well.. just Mark.. LOL jk's! I still can't thank Him enough for the Mamba!..My nose brown enuf yet? And I'm not going anywhere just lots of RC downtime .. And right when I go and buy a new camera..LOL.. Actually have a bit of free time right now to go work on the Mamba and get it ready for next weekend..Thank god for all the extra parts I got with it.. Starting to think I'm just a bad driver now

Sorry to hear you're gonna be out for a while.

In the past three weeks I've gotten three friends to get RC's.

It's a way to keep us out of the bar and not spend so much money.

Couple more are interested. It's a great hobby, but it is time consuming

and expensive. Hope to see you around still giving advice.

Chris

My MXT both servos are shot and one badly badly bent dogbone, screws keep stripping on the bottom of the front suspension and need a new body badly, and having tuning issues (i richen and lean to no effect. still getting 250-300+ temps) have to find time to go the LHS for fuel line. my buggy stripped a spur gear which sux. been thru approx 3 gallons and it finaly happend other than that its perfect. and i cant seenm to keep a lower wire on my HOrnets motor solderd on.lol So i hope we can hook up on saturday but it depends on me getting time.lol. alot of us are in the same boat i think.lol

I definitely feel your pain on this one. I have spent most of my RC time fixing 2 broken cars. One of these days I will be up and running again, but that isn't going to be anytime in the near future.

In rc, its the name of the game, sometimes you get good stretches of luck but there is always down time, i had 7 of my rc's give me problems memorial day weekend, all on the same day, within 2 hours, i was dumbfounded. I came home, cleaned them up and started to fix!!!! All brands too, from traxxas to himoto. My carb even fell apart on one of my os .18 cvrx's. Thats when i knew the daw was over!!!

Zeen, dont worry, take a break for a few days, you will get the itch and once you sit down and start to wrench, you remember why you enjoyed it so much.

Serious? Kinda feel bit like a mooch here... lol... But if you feel like being generous...Its the screw/bolt that holds on the clutch bell and the little washer would have probably been lost with it..

It's just going to be hard buying parts online now because my pay-pal account is on a hold right now.. tried to screw me ..

Zeen....
I know how you feel....
I had a stretch a while back, where ALL 4 of my Gas cars were Down for the Count. Boy, was I Pissed, and Discouraged.
I just Fixed em one by one and decided to Drive em a little Easier. Has worked like a charm!
Now....I Pick and Choose when and Where to drive BALLS OUT...
You just Cant drive these things @ 110%, One Hundred Percent of the time......
They WILL break.....
I've learned a Lot from driving on the Race Track too.....
Its Easier for me to Hold Back a little, now, and PICK my time for WOT.......
Saves me a pretty Penny too, (although they Still Break from time to time).

But you are Right to Back Off a bit if they are starting to Stress you out.....
Take a Vacation from RC for a week or two. When you start to Jones for running your cars, you'll Know its Time to get back in the Game!

I should be, Gotta put in a new dog bone..See whats going on with the rear end.., Clutch screw, Glue up the rims, Fix my on/off switch, Rear wing needs a screw, And the pull start is being a fart knocker as well.

Shouldn't take very long.
