thanks for the update on rt models. I was gonna order a kit from them, but that's out of the question now.
Again, thanks for the heads up.

I have been looking for a Twin Otter myself for years. I know of no kit ever made of the plane but I did recently see a set of plans on epay. It was a buy it now ad, I waited too long and nowt hey aren't there, but they may pop up soon. I'll do some more checking.

SHOOTNSTARZ,
I just bought a set of Otter plans & saw the ones you were talking about. The same vendor also has a set of Islander plans available on Ebay(#140240193769). You might go to those and then email him about the Twin Otter plans.

I was really disappointed obout the reports I've seen on rt models. Wanted to get a Twin Otter kit but don't think the hastle is worth it dealing with a scum bucket.

In 1976 an 1/9 scale (86.66" DHC-6 Twin Otter plan was published in the Model Builder magazine.

If you google Bill Northrop's Plan Service, They may still be available.

Good luck. They are great flyers.

Looks like rt models is out of business. I checked out the website and you cannot send money via paypal. They discontinued his membership, probably because he screwed too many people. (or maybe he fell on hard times)

So it looks like Bill Northrup is the only place to get a set of plans. He doesn't have a website, but you can call him and order plans.
