IMO the best tricks you can learn are bunnyhop, manual, and fakie. Between those three, it will expand your trickbook far larger once you master those.

Fakie isn't really a trick. It's merely riding in reverse.

Don't be so liberal.

Between those three "maneuvers" you can accomplish a lot. Example bunny-hopping onto a ledge for a grind and doing a 180 out onto a fakie rollback.

I find the same thing about manuals (just riding wih tire in the air).. They just give "real" tricks more style IMO.

Exactly.

My statement still stands, manual, fakie, and bunnyhop can produce amazing combos. If you can bunnyhop you can do 180, aid if you can fakie congratulations, now you can do a 180 rollback. Manuals are key for continuing your lines. Do a set and ride a manual to the next bench and icepick it.

I realize I will have a little more of a challenge learning a lot of tricks with a brakeless setup, but, if pro's can do it, so can I. Brakeless tire taps do look a little challenging though.

Do you plan on just using this as transportation?

If so, it's a good bike. However, if your planning on doing tricks it's entirely wrong.

My opinion remains unchanged, I don't see anyone doing a fakie like people do flat 3's or hang 10's.

A 180 fakie isn't a trick? What about a rollback, that's not a trick?

I guess rollbacks are tricks but I don't consider them so, more like a thing.

If you just going to be riding it then look at something different.

I was going to get the Pro (not XL) for racing but decided I want to try my hand at Freestyle.
