Hi guys I am building a scratchbuild airplane and almost finished it. The dimensions are 1 meter length and 1.4 meter wingspan with about 9 centimeter height w/o rudder. I am wondering if this airplane would fly, with a rectangular wing and a 16 cm wing chord throughout the wing? This is a low wing configuration, and the airplane will be approximately 2.7-2.8 kg weight. I am sure with the oversized wingspan the airplane would fly, what glow engine should I go with?

Please give me straight facts or even better a stright forward answer. Please I am not interested in people suggesting me books and neither an I interested in websites, daaaah.

Thank you for replying,
Yishht.

PS. I have no pictures for you give up your hopes. Want pictures? Go to Scratch Building Project Airway XY-9 in the scratchbuilding forum.

I responded under your build thread.

I also responded. In short - yes it will. It just won't be as 'friendly' as some sport models.

Yish, I already sent you a message about posting the same topic multiple times. Please use your original thread on the model to ask for opinions such as this. Posting multiple threads on the same or very closely related topics is considered as forum spamming. You're new so perhaps you didn't realize this.
