3rd thread now at RCU about this. Sorry, couldn't resist!

Oh, and are all the PZ pilot figures related to each other? They all look like the same guy!

Mmmmmmmm.....already dreaming about mechanical retracts.......

BTW, will the DX5e Rx work with the DX6i? Or should I just go for a PNP version of the Corsair?

The AR500 receiver that comes with the RTF version of the Corsair is DSM2, which means it will work fine with the DX6i.

I saw this last night on Horizon's Website - cruising looking for my next acquisition ! Anyone know when the airplanes should arrive in stores or on-line? I see mentions of mid-August. Right now my T-28's the "go to" airplane in the basement - I dearly hope the Corsair flies as well.

According to Horizon the plane is on track for the mid august release date, there shouldn't be the same delays that the Trojan suffered. Definitely looking forward to this one, there's a severe lack of nice parkflier warbirds around.

Cheers

Ordered mine today. Got the plug N Play version from wholesale trains.com for 149 bucks. Gotta be a member for member priceing though. Can't wait to try it out. I fly the t-28 Trojan and it is a great plane. Hope that this one flies as nicely.

The Corsairs are now on the water, which puts the likely release date as early September.

I love it! Can't wait! The Corsair is my favorite plane. It seems to be built similar to the Trojan (same motor, etc). It should fly pretty sweet!

The glossy color catalog I got from Horizon yesterday has it on the cover and it says something similar to "Enjoy it this Summer".

Maybe Horizon should get their planes well into production before telling a release date, everyone gets all excited, only to be let down by having them pushed farther back. just a thought, Don't get me wrong, i love their products i own several..... R/C FLYR

i'm with you! months of anticipation, followed by delays (in every case, it seems). how about just releasing them when they are ACTUALLY AVAILABLE!!!???? i already spent the funds that i had put aside for this plane on something else.

That seems to be the way things are done today...WII or iPhone anyone? I'm not a fan of it.

Yeah, I spent the funds I was going to use also. I went to a swap meet and got a real good deal on a T-34 Mentor. I think I'm really gonna like it. Son-in-law trimmed it out for me, but haven't had a chance to actually fly it yet.

Hmmm.... clean clothes.... new plane... gotta say you made the right choice!

I didn't know these were in the stores yet. I figured it would be sometime next month. Let us know how it flies! I'm envious!

I haven't even gotten my SuperCub in the air yet, but I'm already thinking about next planes. The T-28 is so highly recommended and it flies very nicely I've been told, but this Corsair is so much better looking. I love Mustangs and Corsairs, but I'm not sure how well the Mustang flies. If this Corsair flies as well as the T-28, I think it will give that plane a run for its money in sales. I think a lot of people love the look of the Corsair.

Anybody experienced with a T-28 and planning on buying one of these? It would be a natural comparison I bet many people, like me, would be interested in.

i don't have the corsair yet but i will!!! i told my girl about my intentions and she wasn't a fan... so i told her to buy it for me and i would go get the washer/dryer... i think she agreed but i could be wrong...

my t-28 keeps going nose up and i'm not sure how to fix it... parkzone said the corsair should arrive in september... fortunately thats next week!!! i'll get it with some replacements for the t28 when as soon as it gets in and just tell my lady i'll take it off the price of the washer/dryer... maybe she'll like that plane better...

here's my t28...

Jersey Nice damage. Looks more like nose down than nose up The pilot looks as if he bought a piece of the front canopy.
I can't speak, though, as I have not even gotten the SC in the air. I guess the harder part is getting it back to the ground.
Keep us posted about your impressions of the Corsair vs. the T-28.
