the only good cordless mouse for gaming is the Logitech g7.

best budget mouse IMHO is the g3. its about 40 bucks. veeeeeery good for the price, and it has a LAZAH!!!!
Without installing the software, a button switches from 800dpi to 1800. With the optional software, its cycles through 4 dpi settings for different sensitivity.

I prefer not to use the software.

I would not recommend getting the MX Revolution. I have one and the spin wheel was nice for a little while, but after awhile it stopped spinning so fast. I took it apart, cleaned it, and still, not so fast at all. I also verified that its not on the "click" setting. It just wore down somehow, and this was the mouse's greatest feature. =(

haha I do notice a significant difference for gaming though. You wouldn't think so, but the response speeds and little things make a big difference. Have you ever heard someone tell you they wouldn't spend $300-$400 on a toy car?

Good point..but my point is,i wouldn't buy a 100$ mouse to sit inside all day and not do anything for day's at a time,i like to get out..But if that's your thing then get after it.

Oh and mine is a little over a 1000$ but i doubt that's much better then 400$ lol

Exactly. I guess it depends on your computer usage and stuff too. If you do a lot of gaming, just like in the R/C world, you want to have the best. haha

I posted this in the other thread... go to www.razerzone.com , they have a budget mouse coming out very soon. Best gaming mice by far.

PS. There are no cordless mice which are good for gaming.

PPS This is the daddy of them all right now... http://www.razerzone.com/p-66-razer-lachesis-gaming-mouse.aspx

PPPS This is the previous generation's best, and the mouse I have in my hand right now. I can't praise it highly enough and now it's only $69, it's a steal, I paid 99 for mine a year and a half ago... Razer Copperhead

another good one (I like at least) is the MX518
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/mice_keyboards/devices/187&cl=us,en
wired is better in my opinion for a gaming mouse it has the high dpi settings and fits the hand really nice, I also like that you can set each button to do whatever you like, keeps you quick. I am thinking of going back to this over my new logi laser mouse just because of how comfortable it was.
