well exams are over, so on saturday morning i decided to build somthing, anything really and decided on a dragster. I wanted to drive on sunday so i used mainly porduction parts. the rear end i made from my parts box of matrix parts, yes i had ALL the parts. and the front end is ripped off a schumacher cougar (soon gonna build a lighter custom front). The engine is a mach .28 i modded a few months back and never ran scence, it had a surprising amount of power, but the efficiancy blew me away, i was getting 6-7 mins out of a 125cc tank at 230-240 degrees. chassis is completely custom from a sheet of aluminium, mini grinder jigsaw and pillar drill made it. and the tyres are medial pro 25 shores, and old schumacher 2wd buggy onroads. all in all im pleased with it for a 10 hour design and build. opinions?

yehh the rear tyres were a problem, truggy ones would be too big, standard buggys to thin for the diameter of them, the custom front will have smaller fronts to help the look of it.

You need some of these on the back http://prolineracing.com/p-298-road-rage-40-series.aspx

A MT tire would probably be the best for that or look into the 30 series they may be a little bigger then the buggy tires.

Interesting build here. I like seeing custom stuff; its fun to see what people can do with a bunch of spare stuff and free time. Looks good. =)

RC monkey and adam 69, where do you buy your nitro stuff from in the UK?

Do you know any good UK sites, the only good one I know of and use right now is www.modelsport.co.uk

JESpares are good, so are Microtech racing, but if your are buying anything expenive buy from the US or Hong Kong - so much cheaper.
