Thunder Tiger TOC 71" Yak 54

Has anyone built this kit? I can't find a thread on it. I also can't find it for sale anywhere on the net. It is on the Ace site though.

I was trying to find any goods about this bird too.

It's a 28 cc plane. Strange size for me. Too small for a 50cc and too big for an OS 160 FX.... The last engine is one I have in hands...

I dunno... at 10.3 pounds a OS 160 should rip it around like a foamy. It's about the same size and weight as a Peak yak or a Magichand.... It's still a pound lighter than the aeroworks...
Bite the bullet and tell us about it...

os 160 w/beer bottle pipe will be great powa on a 10lb plane.

for the price i'd go with the extreme flight 74'' yak, its $399, more wing area, and comes out the same weight with a os160.

the gasser(50cc and up)planes from tt toc are great.

What's a beer bottle pipe?

Well, I can't get an EF airplane here in Brazil. We don't have any sellers. Import one would be sooooo expensive. The TT is more accessible to me. But it's still expensive. 750 USD and I need to convert it to brazilian money (1USD = 1,80REAL) and pay around 25% of shipment. So, before afford one, I have to be sure if it will or not be a 3D machine with the 160.

Wow... I never heard about this YAK 3D. It seems to be pretty good, but for me it is in the same situation as EF Yak. There's so sellers around me and is to expesive to import...

Might think about this one. I have had two and they're great planes. Fly real nice and are very light. http://www.peakmodel.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_99_96&products_id=634 and they ship everyware.

'beer bottle pipe'

wakes up a 160 os. throw away your muffler.

get a macs header, and a budweiser aluminum beer bottle, make a short stinger on bottom of bottle, mount to plane with included silicone coupler, viola, mo-powa. adds power to mid and top end, makes a smoother transition in mid. sounds cool too.
(basically an over sized mousse can pipe/muffler)

realistically, if your gonna pay $750 for this, id make the call to chris at extreme flight and just buy his yak, its a proven 3d ship, you wont regret paying so much for it.

there's some guys in mexico, brazil, and argentina flying his planes, so i think shipping could be arranged from the states.

Wow, dude!!! This is pretty cool!! I mean, really pretty cool. I've never heard about something like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will try for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just need to change the beer brand. We don't have buds here!!! Right now, Budweiser is a brazilian company. A giant brazilian beer company had purchased budweiser, but we don't have any been selling here!!!

I try to get some numbers to see what plane is better to me to get!!

Thank you!

SAM... Have you ever owned or seen a PeakModels 25% yak? I was looking at the CRRC 26cc combo from them, but don't know anything about Peak or their planes.
