Nope cant be bumpstarted.
But has a drill start which is good in my opinion,
allows you to carry a drill around and not a big box

hey does any know if the mgt can be bump started from the bottom just wondering and can you get all the hop ups for the mgt im starting to look at them now iv wanted one till i saw the revo but now im wondering about the revo well thanks

I totally agree with Snaut Rocket. Do you really want to lug around a bulky starter box? You're already dragging along a 10-13lb truck, transmitter, tools and nitro. Get a drill type starter and throw it in the toolbox. Better yet, get a big enough tool box that can accomodate your Tx too, so that's one single, easy trip for all your bashing needs......unless you got a ramp
BTW, The MGT is a beast but it does roll rather easy in stock form. You'd want to at least upgrade to the stiff springs, and there's a seller on ebay(Nova RC Products) that sell wheel extenders($30) that can widen the stance 2"-3". Now you got a truck that's 24.17" long and 20.24" wide. Put that next to your buddies' Revos I'll be getting a set of these extenders in the near future.

The only modification I've done to my MGT so far is to increase the steering throw (sharper turning) http://monstergt.com/articles/steering_tune_up_mods.php. I'm really happy with this modification and it didn't cost me anything Like I said, get the red or copper shock springs($14 for 8) and wheel extenders($30) along with the steering mod should make the MGT a decent handler or at least dramatically decrease the tendency for it to roll.....and still keep those huge stock tires. I've read another great replacement/upgrade are RPM suspension arms, they're suppose to be much tougher than the stock ones. This is something you want to wait until the part actually break to replace IMO. Stay away from those aluminum suspension arms if you're gonna bash. Another good upgrade would of course be stronger steering servos. My stock one works fine for me, but when it does crap out I'll invest in a really good one.
