Here are some pics. You can see that our slope is a grassy hill covered in plants and bushes. Here are some pics of the local RC community. The picture with the group of people is the group that we call the "scientists" they are the brainiacs of our slope. The guy withe the blue glider is Hans, an expert pilot. In the Pic with the two LS8 gliders you can see Hans and Alex, another Alex... The kid at the slope is me... And there are plenty of photos of planes. The guy with the weird hat is Eduardo, the last survivor of the Inka culture (just kidding) and he is the flying wing expert. The guy with the red plane and blue jacket is holding a Ferox slope racer.
The slope is a public park called park Ghandi. Unfortunately e have a huge radio antenna a few hundred meters away which makes flying with 72 Mhz troublesome. Most people use 35 Mhz PCM/PPM...
Any comments?

Haha! The "club"is wanting to buy a digital, solar operated mini weather station. We would mount it on one of the telephone poles and connect it to the internet so we can know how the wind is every day... Anyone know about mini weather stations or know where we can buy one?

More pics coming soon, im going to the field to take photos as soon as I leave school, in about 5 hours.... Yeah i know its a lot of time but be pacient Today the weather forcast at the airport is about 22 kilometers of wind, and the airport is only 6 miles away from the field. Usualy there is about 4 more km of wind at the slope than at the airport. My Ferox slope racer is almost complete, im finishing painting the fuse and applying the carbon to the tail sections. The wings still have to be covered.
Im using Hobbico MGS-12 micro metal gear high speed servos-will these produce high current draw from my batteries? I am using a standard futaba 600 mah square pack

These are some more pics... The fenced are is the VIP area, only hotshots allowed There are some real good pics of scale planes. The plane with the dog is a wooden, beefed up, shorter version of the Ferox called an Atrox. The yellow plane standing on its wing tip is an ASW-28 The red plane being launched is an older version of the Ferox, which is wider and can accept standard servos. There is no karbon on this version. The black/blue 3D plane is the Magic but everyone calls it the Magaly because of an actress on a Tv show, which is just as annoying. The guy with a machete is demonstrating proper use of a CNC lazer cutter. Hmmm nothing like fresh LAZER-Cut wings.... Eduardo is standing in front of the ASW, the Atrox and the Older Ferox. What a shame what happened to the Mustang... it was such a cool plane.
