I was looking around the net and found this website that manufactures A123 packs made for RC use. The price appears to be good from what I can tell(just started looking into A123) and I wanted to share and see what everybody thinks. I'll be ordering soon and will post my experience. If you've already had some with this site, let me know. Thanks.

The packs you noted are NOT A123 cells
A123 is a brand - not a type of battery
The A123 is a propriatory technology and tho other procucts ar similar - they are not A123.
They are simply "lookalikes"

Those are rate 14 amps. and have a Polyswitch and may be OK for receiver packs but a Polyswitch is just another device to fail and cost you a plane,IMO.

A123 2300 mAh cells will do 60 amps. with ease and well over a 100 in burst and do it for hundreds of cycles. I have tested several different LiFePO4 A123 want to bes and to date all have been very disapointing. One brand I am now testing seem better than the others but still no where near equal to A123s.

Take a look at this web site: www.sincityjets.com I purchased three A123 2300 mah packs and a Cell Pro 4S charger from them and have been pleased with their performance. I have a new Wild Hare Extra 300 with a DA-50R 50cc gas engine. I have a JR 921 RX, five JR 8611a high torque digital servos, and two JR 821 digital servos in this plane. I use one battery pack for my ignition and dual battery packs (for safety redundancy) for the flight system. I now have 36 flights on the plane and battery packs. My experience is that I get at least 4 to 5 flights and still have at least 80% capacity left in the battery packs. After these number of flights, I then recharge the packs which ussually takes about ten minutes. As I stated, I have been very pleased with the performance of these batteries and intend to deploy these batteries in all my flight packs. What I find amazing is that this technology has been around for several years yet a majority of members of the R/C clubs which I belong to are not aware of these batteries.
