Status: offline 		Ok, so I frequent the buy and sell section of this website here and there for good deals, and lately I have been seeing the most redicuous things posted.

Take this one for instance I saw a Sportwerks Chaos mini buggy for sale with a broken pullstart for 150!!!! The thing is 100 brand new. I see things like this all the time. No offense, but is it because kids think they can get this much money? There are plenty of other examples I can give, that was just one of the more redicuous ones. It has me confused, I know they won't sell it and it doesn't bother me I just wish I knew what was going through ther heads ha ha.

the want adds are free to use, right?

Status: offline 		actually you can get the Chaos at amain for $89.99+S&H and on ebay for $69.99+S&H

There's a Chaos for sale locally and they want $100 for a used one, when I could go to Amain or Ebay and get one for less.

That reminds me, I've seen a used wore out sirio 23 that the seller said Does NOT RUN!!!! (just like that in bold red letters) new you can get them for $170 and it sold for $80 + shipping, and he said it had no compression.

Then I've seen a picco 28 with (what he said) had only 1/2 a gallon and was still really tight pinch go for $70 I don't get it, the market of used RC stuff is just weird.

Status: offline 		Pther websites are way more reasonable for R/C car equipment. The airplane section of this website is also reasonable. But it always seems that people on the car side of things are trying to sell stuff for 85%-150% of what they payed for it. I think it's an age issue really, but I could be wrong.

I heard the plane guys don't really like the car guys, that maybe why.

Luckily I'm kinda both, but I haven't got any planes just yet.

but for my add, i bought the car for 450, and selling it for 350. and this whole time i have owned it it has maybe run 20 times? and the chassie has hardly any scracthes to show for it

Status: offline 		Next time if you see that something is overpriced, check if it is from someone in the UK. Nitro trucks in Uk are 3 times more expensive than US so they may have a good chance of selling it.

Status: offline 		just something you have to remember when your selling something you could walk into a hobby shop and buy the newest car for 500 and turn around to sell it and your not gonna get more then what you paid, ass soon as you leave the price drops. so say you buy the car the and try to sell it your gonna get less then what you paid for.

look at all the show queens, guys who put 2-4k in the truck thinking they can get the 2-4k back and they wind up selling it for 750 at the most, and if they don't take that there better off selling it in pieces to get some of their money back....

when buy parts for the car to sell or performance hop ups are bling pretty much to catch the buyers eye but server little to add value to the cars price, there has been countless times i have talked with buddies about things we have seen on ebay for way over priced who do they think there kidding. and with this note take good pics, list everything in detail, do not skimp, over the small things take pics and make sure the truck is clean, i have seen guys asking 500 bucks for a savage 25 it was filthy as crap, he had an extra set of broken rims worn tires Claims ti have only 3 tanks on the motor, broken parts wrecked shell and he had the truck propped up cause in one of the pics the truck had a broken a arm, and in his description kept saying "new adult owned runs great gas and go" i saw that same truck a week later for 350, and just last month i saw it again for 125 and 1 bid...
