i just bought a yt international sea fury and wanted to put an os 108 in it.

this engine is very reliable and i think its enough power for the plane.

just lookin for a prop and spinner size for it.

OK I'll bite. I don't know how big your plane is, but I have a Top Flight Sea Fury which has an 8" cowl and it calls out for a 4" spinner. I am going to use a 3 1/2" spinner because I want a little more air to get to the engine. I know it won't be scale, and will look funny to some people, but it won't look funny to me. Hope this helps.

thanx mesa

i went with a 3 1/2 also but the cowl is a little bigger than the TF one. 1/6 scale like a kmp.

also went with a 16/6 prop. that should be enough to get ur up there.

same engine was on a 1/4 scale laser 200 and it went full vert with the os 108.

dont need full vert here so i went up in diameter and a little down on pitch.

u can pretty much tell by holdin the plane up and seeing the pull she has before flight.

should be fine though.

love to find a 5 blade for it.i think that was scale.

Be careful with this aircraft. I crashed mine today. Partly my fault, partly not. A lot of guys are running the CG at 105mm. Your instruction may or may not be revised. I had a 36 gas in mine and still had to add a lot of nose weight. One reason it went in was my lead came loose and made it tail heavy. It was hard to control but I was managing. Then, (I think anyway) the rear servo tray that is hot glued in it broke loose. after that it was a dive into the dirt. No elevator control at all. It actually looked pretty good after the crash but as soon as I picked it up I could tell the fuselage had fractures all over and everything inside was loose. The wing is bulletproof though. Not really any damage. Anyway, go over everything with some epoxy. I was running a 4.5" spinner and an 18 x 8 prop, but I don't think that's going to help you any. I had the September Fury version, plus the bigger engine.

Good luck

im pretty sure its in sound shape.
i bought it used after a dead stick and repair and the previous owner
went over the entire plane.
the 108 has alot of pull in it on the ground but it is tail heavy.(will add wieght before flight for sure).

my bud has a KMPtyphoon with more wieght in the nose than ive ever seen lol,and thats with a brielli26 up front so i know its tail heavy without even testin it yet.

he ll be the judge of power, wide open to the sky it wants to pull out of your hand now but we ll see after a pound of lead or soo goes in.lol

thanx for info, sorry bout yur fury.

mv.
