Hi,
I am building a Sea Fury .60 and need a new right hand flap.
The quality control guys must have missed this one as it is made wrong.

The part I have is either a left hand flap covered upside down or a right hand flap with hinge angle made backwards.
Perhaps they only make one side and cover them opposite.

(This flap would move in the wrong direction if installed)
The plane didn't come with any control horns, but I don't care about them.

First Nitro Plane for a 25 year builder and pilot.

Can someone from Support contact me.
Thanks,
Dave

E-mail John here, try their on line chat and also call.

That plane is discontinued so a replacement part may not be forthcoming.

Better to get it changed out instead.

It seems there is much more wrong with this plane than just a bad flap.
The entire fuselage is twisted which makes the tail section, rudder, and stabilizer lean around ten degrees to the left.

This plane will not fly, it is a collection of manufacturing flaws.

Haven't heard anything from John
What a joke.

Dave

Still have not heard from John.

This is ridiculous.

This plane is really bad and I see why it is discontinued.

Seems funny no one will assist me with this POS.

The more time that goes by with no response the madder I get.

I'm pulling the gear out and this company can eat ****

Never again

Dave

Sure it does.

They stand by that?

I Still have no word from John after my emails and pm's

All I'm asking for is to be contacted so I can show them the problems and find a solution.

Looks like that won't happen anytime soon for some reason.

Yep it is funny for sure.

Ya know, you might be able to fool a newbie flyer with a POS plane and crappy manufacturing,

But not a 25 year guy. I thought I had seen it all. What a piece of Junk!!

I really am amazed at how sh***y this plane is made.

The fiberglass waves at you and the paint is like chalk. It just falls off..............LOL

I have a twisted fuse that really tops the +/- list.

Pretty poor excuse for an arf plane.

Never again!

No sense in trying to fix or even complete it.

This brand new plane will go to the burn pile.

Hey, I was just wondering. I don't remember Nitroplane selling a Sea Fury...

and I can't find any on their website. Since they are still showing planes that have been unavailable for more than a year(not updating their website), when did you buy that????

It's been sitting NIB for around 6 months in my stash.

No Worries, The plane is now gone and so is my Hobby Dollars from this company.

I feel sorry for all the guys that buy these terrible planes.

My Experience was complete and total amazement at how these guys can stay in business.
Never did hear from John about the problems.

Good luck to all of you who buy them!

Here is my new project to replace the Sea Fury.

It went together slick.
No problems at all.

Wish the Nitro plane had worked out, but that was impossible due to having so many flaws.

I won't look Nitro Planes again for any assistance or any other aircraft.

Good luck to all!

NICE plane! I was surfin Towers site just now and that same plane caught my eye. A pal just bought and maidened a H9 Sundowner 50 and I told him I would find something similar to fly with him. I never saw any other pics of it other than yours now. It's a beauty! I think I may order it today.....got all the gear for it already....why not. Thanks for the look.

P.S. I had the same exp. with nitro planes. Matter of fact I just pulled my gear out of a brand new P-51 from that I never flew due to a bent crank on my saito. Only got one wheel in my kit, 1/2 the hardware (I wouldn't have used the other half anyway), had to "make things work" for the rest of the plane.

It's a sweetheart for sure.
Went together with no hassles whatsoever.

Took about 3 hours total.
Beautiful glass, real hardware, great covering.

I installed a ST 90 and am installing the radio now.

A night and day difference from the Nitro Plane.

Amazing quaility!

You'll love it
Dave

Another couple to consider is

Kyosho Kelly

World Models Nemesis or Barbera Jean.

I gave the Sea Fury to a small Hobby Shop so all comers could see what Nitro Models produces.
I was going to burn it, but that seemed like a better idea to me.

Doubt they sell any Nitro planes in Northern Iowa
