Hello Dennis,
no problem to send you the plans.

Congratulations, you got sailnumber 100!
And you are also "Number One" for Belgium.

Good luck for the building.
All planupdates will reach you in a second mail.

Kind regards,
Ernst

The race for the next 100 FREE selfbuilding plans is on!

Plan No.101 was sent to South Africa and No.102 went to New Zealand.

This makes it FIVE Trimarans under construction at Cape Good Hope -
and SIX being built at New Zealand.

When can a Mini40 worldchampionship with 50 boats happen???

It's must be satisfying to see that there are so many people interested in build your design. It certainly lives up to its reputation as a solid competitive performer. I got started on my carbon fiber version of the MKVII. Updates in the build log. I hope it won't take as long to get this one done as all the experience gained and templates made for the first boat are being reused to the extent possible.

YES - it is very satisfying for me, to see the ongoing interest in my design(s).

Allthough the requests are still only "tripping" instead of "running" in - if you know what I mean!
It´s approximately two per week and if I look at the huge numbers of free monohull plans available,
compared to free multihull plans - I had expected a much bigger input.

Anyway - I will keep up that free service and just wait for the big flood - *ggg*

WATERWORLD-fan forever!

Plans No. 103 went to France, 104 and 105 to Germany.

Quite interesting under this circumstances - the german forum is as quiet as a graveyard currently -...-

Late Satisfaction.

Also interesting (for me) is the relation of  100 : 1  between klicks and ordered/sent plans.

Plan No. 107 sent!

South Africa, New Zealand and Australia - 6 plans each sent out.

USA has the lead with 10 + plans currently - or are they just LOOKING at the plans, instead of really BUILDING the boats?

Which one is the biggest RC-Multihull building state?

Please note:
As my old PC broke down, free selfbuilding plans can currently only be obtained by Phanchita (Siri) at: www.rcsails.com
But you still can send me a note to:ernst.zemann@gmx.at if you have any questions - and I will forward it to Phanchita

It looks like the sailingseason has really begun, as I only received one more plansrequest from Germany (No.108) but no more for now.

During the cold season it was 2 per week, but that died down pretty much.

Maybe also because Phanchita (Sirit) has the plans for the NEW RT65 Race Trimarans on his site www.rcsails.com for free download?!

I would like your comments here about good boatsize.

Thanks Ernst,
I see the new builders are in Wellington, just down the road a a ways. Hopefully a few get built down there, a few up here in Auckland and we are on our way.
Tis a damn shame you lost that harddrive- still i'm picking it would be easy enough for you to start again. Show us your build ideas by the way..you framing up yet??.

Gary, no framing at all!

I developed my own method for carving/sanding the hulls out from massive styrodur foam blocks!

Building tolerance +/- 0.5 mm.

For example built a carbon shell of a 2M FONCIA in 2007 - and after curing placed it onto the second floatplug - no difference.

Allthough I`m trying to promote that method sice years still nobody understands, how I´m able to do that.
It´s in my fingers.

Hi Idealist,

I have paid attention to the construction methods you use, I can see the benefits, very good tolerances you are achieving with this. I guess everyone has methods which suit their style and abilities, looking forward to some pics of your hulls!!.

Cheers

Great news!

Phanchita (Sirit), who unfortunately still hasn´t got his internet connection re-installed,
just informed me that during the last two months 150 (!) RT65 plans have been downloaded and 78 (!) mini40 plans of "Nightmare MkVII + Mk.VIII".

These plans are still for FREE at www.rcsails.com or from me at: ernst.zemann@gmx.net!

Overall relation:
117 Mini40 plans given away via this great forum, about 20 via the german forum and 78 via Phanchitas site:

215 Plans of the bigger rc-trimarans by now!

From my own statistics 221 free selfbuildingplans for Mini40 Trimarans have been given out by now,
but the download log of Sirit is also updated every month -

The numbers are actually "exploding" worldwide!

Also the two "Cuties" RT65 and RT65R are a great success!
