Went full-tilt-boogie into a river. Been diving for it for what? 2 weeks now?

Glad you found it. It's probably thoroughly junk now, but it's worth disassembling & cleaning it up for fun. The diffs, transmission, suspension, and maybe even the engine can be saved (though it was probably hydrolocked so it might need a new connecting rod) by thorough disassembly and cleaning. IIRC, the radio was the reason it went into the drink in the first place, so you were probably tempted to replace it anyway, right? Gives you a chance to upgrade them and put big beefy servos in it. I'm sure you can find some take-off tires for it as soon as the 14mm hub conversion comes out. If the engine turns out to be bad, you can work on the first big block conversion, too! Bearings are cheap on evilbay - look for a store called plaig_rc on there.

You can send it to me and I'll resurrect it for my personal use!

rclynx.......

Here are some Ball Park Measurements of the STOCKIES.

Rim Dia.......approx 90mm,,,,or 3.55 inch.
Rim Width....approx 50mm,,,or 2.00 inch

Tire Dia.......approx 150mm,,,or 5.88 inch
Tire Width....approx 82 mm,,,or 3.2 inch

Since I dont have an Un-mounted tire/rim,,,,These measurements are my best ESTIMATION.

it was about 20-30 feet from where it pulled a titanic and went down. it was about 35 feet out from the shore. all it's good for now is parts. the tires won't dry. i have been tryin everything i could think of but no luck. my buddy does some diving and swims on the local college team here. it was just pure luck he found the truck at all. i'll just have to buy another one and keep this one for parts. for now i'm out of the rc game until i can scrape up the cash to get another one.
and thanks for posting for me adam.

Did you try baking the tires, Ranger? A little time at 212* in your oven should dry them out mighty quickly. Of course, if any mud got in there you'll end up out of balance even after they're dry, but it's still worth a try.

Still, tires are probably the least of your worries on that truck.
