Longer means better? But the shaft is too long..., I bought it today when I went to a street which has many shop selling electronics component in HK.

Is it very easy to remove the old pinion with hot solder and long nose pliers? And the most important thing is how to put the pinion back into a new motor shaft without damage it.

Thanks everyone here

Too bad , the original motor end cap broke into 2 pieces finally. I tried a 60w hot solder to remove the pinion but unsucessful, need 100W? (If so, I will buy a pinion pre-installed motor instead)

Mike, may I ask you to read the number on the motor, is it
'MINIOFB95G' then '0729BF'? Thanks !

If it is the same as yours, I would abandon it...

Hi Andy, unable to do so, I had throw it away....Frankly speaking, I had tried 10 over type from those component store, the closest one I got is perfect replacement and cost only $2 but I realise later it wont last, probably about 6 flights and its a goner. Finally I gave up and sell the Feda and ordered a hornet. Tail motor heli is out for me. U may want to try the motor for B2, heard a lot of success story for tat.

Cheers

The best motor in my opinion is the pro piccolo motor (but has to be the one with the grey cap) or a wes tech motor which is 8 bucks and is works as good or better then the stock motor...

Thanks
ZIZI

BTW: Hughes...yeah the actual original tail motor costs more then their 310 tuned motor...its actually like 20 bucks...

use the b2 motors on my fp piccolo, work great, just have to take a little time removing the pinion. matches or torch work much better than a soldering iron.

You should consider a small investment in a GWS gear puller. Heat and small motor shafts don't really like each other.

Thanks Rkramar, But do you mean use matches to burn it?

BTW, Can anyone tell me what is the normal behavior of a skylark from lift off the ground to the air?

I still get very confused to figure out what wrong with it (OR ME).
The heli seems like to go left direction in air. Set the swashplate decline to right seems better to centralize the heli but still hard to hover for a couple of second(trend to right). Normal?

Thanks

what makes it go left is the torque of the blades...At liftoff you have to hold the stick to the right so it lifts of straight. the swashplate shouldnt be tilted to any side.

just remember at lift of hold the stick a little bit right.

if you do what you do then when you get in te air it will go right...

Thanks
