Just got the blade cx2 today, it has the 2.4 GHZ system, which is my first, and the lipo, again a first for me. I flew it tonight outside on the patio and within ten minutes I had the training gear off and landing semi rough, but upright. I can't wait to really get this thing flying around. I'd just like to say what a great helicopter this is.

Sounds good austinfinkbeiner, you will have ALOT of fun with the CX2, great little co-axial Heli's !
Once you get good at flying around, there are a number of 'mods' that you can do, to get even better/faster flying performance!

...nice introduction to R/C Heli's with a good deal of scope, should you then want to go on to something bigger.

Keep us updated

Austin,

I am sorry to hear of your success with your new CX2. From here, it's nothing but a downward spiral into the abyss. Within weeks, you'll be collecting lots of spare parts. Within months, you'll have lots of nifty upgrades installed. Forget about laundry, the yard work, or spending time with family and friends (unless they, too, have a heli). You will soon be hopelessly addicted and running home to read this bulletin board, ignoring all applicable driving rules along the way. Congratulations on your new hobby. Your life will never be the same... your house never this uncluttered again, and your wallet never this fat again Keep us posted! Neall

Hey Neall,

LOL, I couldn't have painted a better picture of myself with your description!!

My grass is now taller than the height of my heli's rotor blades....

My walllet is getting thinner than a set of symmetrical blades...

And, I am sitting here at work, goofing off, on these forums I am addicted to, instead of making money to refill my wallet! LOL

BUT, I LOVE IT!!!!

Glenn

What ndoren said is very true. The first thing I do when I wake up and get off work is get on the forum's. I don't get as much sleep as I used too. My wallet is a lot smaller. But it is a lot of fun, so I say it is worth it.

Nick
