I've just recently completed my 100 CC Yak and I'm in the process of getting it trimmed. For knife edge flight I found the airplane tucks severely to the belly when going left to right in knife edge. I mean it is really bad but when going right to left it takes just a bit of up elevator to keep it on track. Can anyone explain why the difference is so drastic. I'm flying with a 3W 106 CS on cannister mufflers. I've also got the smoke tank and smoke system installed.

Thanks

This is the Aero Works support site, isn't it. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

I'm sure Mark Dennis will chime in soon, if not give them a call and see what they tell you would be my suggestion.

Can you be more specific. How much elevator throw in mm or inches for left and right. It can be a different amount of rudder used for one direction. Different speed, upwind one way downwind the other. Lots of factors involved. Does it roll in KE flight?

You have to use more rudder when going from left to right to compensate for engine torque. As you increase the rudder deflection your mixing will change and as such you will need to increase the percentages for your ke mix. Hope this helps answer your question.
