Ive been looking at a plane to learn new tricks on that can take a few crashes.
I want know know which of the airfoilz fomies is the most beginner aerobat freindly. I have a 4 star 40 that i learned how to fly on, and im building an Rv-4 40, so i dont have lots of experience but fell comfortable with flying.
I want one that i can progress with as i go, something that can bare wind, and something that flys slowly
I also want to know if the included Hacker motors would have enough juice to fly the plane where i live, in flagstaff Arizona, about 7,000 feet

    thanks alot
    jon

I personally like the airfoilz Yak and edge, tell me which one you perfer and why

i would get the bipe to be honest, it flies really strait and 3d's better than any of my other foamies. it flies in wind like its nothing too! but if you want a monowing one, get the either one, i have heard great things about both of them

Well well well. Where even to start. If you haven't already decieded let me give you a few pointers... I have personally flown the Profile Edge, Profile Yak, and the Extra 260. Out of those 3 my all-time favorite was the profile yak. It was a good all around mix in my opinion. The Edge and the Extra 260 were extremely wild tumblers, but I didn't like them as much as pattern style fliers. I've heard the Bipe is an EXCELLENT 3der and the Mobious is an EXCELLENT pattern flier. I'm sure whatever you pick out you will be highly pleased with

I would email Paul at 3DXhobbies and ask his opinion. He is a really nice guy and has even answered the phone right away when I called him. I have the full fuse YAK54 I just started building and it is really a well thought out bird. I haven't had time to finish it yet though.

So did ya get one yet?

I currently have a full fuse Extra 260 and LOVE it! I have also flown they Bipe and it was pretty fun as well.

The Hacker 20/20L has PLENTY of oomph for the all the profiles except the Bipe. I liked the bipe on a Torque 2818/900 and a 12X6 prop.

I have a few videos linked here. http://www.airfoilz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61

The new Full Fuse Bipe should be out at the end of this month. Should be the best one yet!

    Have Fun!

    Andy, Nice Videos!
Your setup looks real light, what battery are you running with your 20/20L combo?
I'm just building the full fuse extra 260. When I opened up the box and seen the 3mm depron, I thought it was going to be fragile. After building it, what a difference. I'm really imprest with the design and how strong it is!! I'm looking forward to flying it.

I have had the Full fuselage Yak 54 flying for a while now, and what a fun airplane. A little tough to keep in a hover for more than 10 seconds or so, but it's just my lack of skill I'm sure. I does do a lot of good 3D , waterfalls, blenders and such and really does a great elevator with about 10% spoileron mixed in with full up elelvator.
